Chapter 27—Cultural Studies
A new ethical reflection is included, focusing on Larry Frey’s communication activism for social justice, which replaces Cornel West’s prophetic pragmatism that was featured in the previous edition. There are new examples to illustrate Gans’ five factors that affect news selection to favor those with power, fame, or fortune.
